Being a mother for a day

in #cent2 years ago

Today I assumed the responsibilities inherent to motherhood and the work of a housewife for a whole day. Many times I do it (by episodes and in certain activities) especially at this time when I have been supporting my sister Maira in her home.

For me the day began when my alarm went off at 5:50 am, I got up hastily so that sleep would be scared away. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, took my euthyrox tablet as I religiously do every day, and got ready to start doing the same: prepare the coffee and at that moment my niece Carlimar gets up and begins to make the arepas (she is very helpful) .I drink my coffee with the hope that the dream that still persists will go away.

Next I wake up the youngest (Ariamna) so that she can get dressed because it takes forever, I have to wake her up with antics and kisses because if not the crying is big and wakes up her parents (remember that I wanted to give them vacation for a day hahaha) . The arepas are ready, I fill them up, I put them in cups, I fill the water filter, I help Ariamna get ready while her sister combs her hair. At the moment it is 6:50 am and we must run to get to both school and high school on time, which are very close, thank God. I wait for the civic act to be fulfilled, I leave both of them and return home with more sleep than desire to live but satisfied that my sister and her husband sleep a few more hours.

I get home, have breakfast and prepare to wash the fridge which screams for me to do it, I concentrated so much that I didn't even take a photo, but I guarantee it was like a mirror and me: sore, but happy. When I ask the time: 11:15 a.m. God!!! was my expression, time goes by very quickly…I put lunch out of the freezer and I'm going to shower, change and go find the girls at their study sites…I pick Ariamna up first, we wait a few minutes for Carlimar and that's it (in In the photo you see me in a sweater, because you can't imagine how powerful the sun was)

We arrived, I prepare lunch, which was ready around 2:00 pm because the gas went out and we had to wait for the reconnection, incidentally there was a visit so the amount of food increased. I must confess that at this time I wanted to faint, but there was still a long day to go hahaha. After eating, I wash the slab, I watch the novel and at 3:00 pm I prepare another giant cup of coffee to relax and watch a quick movie..

After this, I get ready to take a bath, but not before waiting at the bathroom door for about 30 minutes when my niece said she was almost out, they are occupational hazards. In short, I manage to take a bath, I go to the store to buy something that was needed, I come back, help with dinner (my brother-in-law had almost everything ready, thank God), we eat, pray and read the word of God and I immediately run to the computer table to tell you how my day was, when finished (approximately 11:45 pm), I check doors, keys, turn off lights, go to the bathroom and then to bed very tired but happy to be of help in this home .
