What a week - the best week of 2024.

My #Visa, #Axon, and #Bitcoin investments have been on FIRE this week. On Wednesday many folks were shocked to look at their 401K/403B/IRA plans. Many portfolios saw a gain of 10K or more.

I posted this on Wednesday to show my viewers that I had one portfolio up 5% and another up about 9% (more than the Indexes for that day).

Later in the week, I was excited to watch Visa continue its impressive run. When went back into some OLD pdf that I had on my computer. I used these to help me study Visa financials. Using Valueline's Dow 30 FREE reports, I can pull Visa data. I have been following these reports for over 5 years now. If you read one of these in 2017 or 2018, you might have considered buying Visa with a timeliness of "2". It was trading under $130 in 2018 with a mild forecast of trading between 115-140.

By Feb 2021, the forecast for Visa was between 225-275 by the year 2023-2025.
By Feb 2022, the forecast for Visa was between 245-300 by the year 2024-2026.
By Nov 2024, the forecast for Visa was between 375-455 by the year 2027-2029.
Right now the shares are over $300, the dividend was recently hiked again.

This has been one stable and safe investment that I owned. I don't worry about the earnings or news as it always finds a way to move up. Even at $300 a share, I still think Visa has plenty of room to grow it business.

The TASER company famous for its yellow stun gun has been getting more popular lately. If you watch cop chases on YouTube, videos of Car chases, or Cops at theme parks, you often see the #AXON body 3 or #AXON body 4 video camera.

These are the products of the company that makes the yellow TASERS. This business is to bring less-lethal solutions to the police force. In addition, the camera has been beneficial for police departments and the public that they serve. The camera can show what happens during tense moments that require quick decision-making.

I believe in their growing TASER business as well as their Body Cam, Evidence.com and the new AI products they are rolling out.

BITCOIN - what to do now?

Bitcoin hit new all-time highs this week. Should you Buy, Sell, or HOLD #BTC?

I would buy HODL at this point. There are many ways to play the future with the potential of changes that are coming. The first is the peak of the current cycle is normally between 12-18 months after the halving. That would bring the peak happening between April 2025-Dec 2025.

The other news is what if the Trump Administration does something that was talked about in Nashville during the Bitcoin conference? What if the US govt is friendly toward Bitcoin? What if the US govt can hold BTC? What if the US Govt accepts payments from other govt in the form of Bitcoin? This news is complex but a simple way to play this is to go LONG on Bitcoin. Another way to play this is to use a LONG CALL option that is a year out.

I have a bunch of covered calls on my underlying that move with BITCOIN. I need to close those covered calls to make sure I don't limit my upside that might happen in the next 4 months. I think this is a wise position to take before Thanksgiving. Waiting until Jan 2025 might be too late, especially if BITCOIN continues to move towards 100K.
