Dear friends, collaborators, haters and curious people of the Cervantes Magazine:
With each number we at @Cervantes, reflect on emotions and situations that can lead us to a blank paper and create new content.
But few emotions provoke and insinuate as much as Lust.
As always, we will start with the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language:
LUST
From lat. luxuria.
- f. Excessive desire for sexual pleasure.
- f. Excess on some things.
With a brief search on the Internet we can find different definitions with a strong moral weight. Does the EXCESS of pleasure really exist? or the excess of desire.
In the bible we are already told about lust as one of the capital sins, using this word as a union between sex and the forbidden, the dirty, the taboo.
Be that as it may, this word incites personal fantasies that are difficult to explain, since each individual is the possessor of their own desires or elements that excite them. This is how the game begins.
From those fantasies we can develop our own content, either in simple "confessions" that are embedded in a blog or in a story that lets us see with each letter and description whatever excites you. And of course the drawings, music and videos that show us what tickles you.
The special thing about lust as emotion or sin, is that expressing it in a piece creates an exchange of ideas between the observer and the author. In art, lust is contagious and grows like a snowball, that is, if the author manages to reflect what he wants, he awakens that desire in the spectator, leading him to remember his own personal lust.
Perhaps it is because of this contagion-like effect that for centuries lust was forbidden within artistic expressions and very persecuted by censorship, but it grows even more if it is a forbidden fruit. It is the most feared and invoked sin since the world is world.
In this Cervantes Magazine Vol.17 we close our eyes and let ourselves be carried away by the touch, the sound of whispers and the fresh humidity that accompanies the scent of sex. The relentless joy of containing our secrets behind a light curtain that sways as the breeze passes by.
Ladies and Gentleman: Lust
Hello and good day.
In this edition of Cervantes magazine we will be talking about lust, and I am going to take charge of the Sainetes section.
Last Friday, hundreds of calls received by the National Police warned of a fact as unusual as hard to explain. The Plaza del Callao in Madrid witnessed an unprecedented bacchanal in the middle of the public street.
As time goes by, our generations are adapting to the day-to-day functionalities and also to sex, lust and taboo that comes with them, always prone to disappear from the face of the earth. Who would say that something so natural is so apparently forbidden and involve so many factors to speak freely about it?
Lust is one of the most basic instincts of all humans, it is the motor that leads us to reproduce and perpetuate ourselves as a species and it has been with us since before we reached this point of evolution. In fact we could say that it is the most animal of our instincts along with hunger since the great majority of the animal kingdom has the need to look for a couple to copulate. Lust is also related to sexual pleasure and interpersonal relationships, and I would like to talk about the biochemistry related to them.
Hello, Steemit community! We are dealing with a very hot topic this week in the Cervantes Magazine and as you can expect the videogame industry knows very well how to use Lust as a way to attract the audience and let the imagination of the users fly, so, we are going to talk a little about different Video games that use it in their favor.
When we talk about lust in the audiovisual scene we automatically see a few Xs in our minds and depending on the amount of Xs we will know if we are facing with an erotic film or pure hard porn ... As this Magazine is for all audiences and we try not to hurt sensibilities, we will stay with a single X and comment on some movies and series that can stimulate our basic ...instincts ;)
A virgin, and with a mass of confusions and successes, at the age of 25, Dalí exhibits one of the most representative works of Surrealism and of himself. In it manages to express one of his most anchored obsessions until then, sex and complacency.
Letter to Cervantes: “Congratulations, hugs and thanks!”
I would like to address directly to the entire team of Cervantes to send a congratulation for the excellent work they do every day. I am a faithful reader of the magazine and of the daily selection of the curation team, which always surprises me and on some occasions have left me with reflections to improve my content. Hugs to all the community to dedicate its time to the public and the quality, refining every day all the details always looking for inclusion and variety. Finally I finish my letter giving thanks, for motivating me to promote my passions, among them poetry, which has been so well accepted within this medium, could not be better.
