Sinopsis

Todos hemos tenido ganas alguna vez de explotar un banco, ¿no?. Edward Norton no solo a uno sino ¡a todos los de la gran manzana!. Basada en la novela homónima de Chuck Palahniuk, David Fincher nos presenta un personaje corriente que trabaja en una empresa aseguradora automovilística, es comprador compulsivo y fiel vividor de placeres materiales, pero... su mente le juega una "mala" pasada. Exhausto por el insomnio visita a un médico con la esperanza de que le sea recetada alguna droga pero solo consigue un par de consejos: valeriana y una invitación al grupo de apoyo de pacientes con cáncer de testículo. La visita a éste grupo termina por hacerle conciliar el sueño y pronto se hace adicto a todos los grupos de apoyo relacionados con enfermedades de alto calibre. Es una de estas reuniones donde conoce a la hermosa Marla Singer (Helena Bonham) que parece ser su alma gemela. Todo parece mejorar hasta el día en que alguien explota su apartamento de revista, por lo que decide llamar al excéntrico personaje Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) que conoció hace poco en uno de sus viajes por negocios. Tyler va pronto en su ayuda y juntos dan inicio a lo que será el nuevo club de apoyo: El Club de la Pelea. Pero... ¿Hasta dónde es capaz de llegar el ser que odiándose esta dispuesto a dormir tranquilo? ¿Luchara por si mismo? ¿lo hará alguien mas por el? Tal vez un alter-ego que nos pinte como la persona que realmente queremos ser.

Synopsis

We've all wanted to exploit a bank, right? Edward Norton not only one but all of the big apple !. Based on Chuck Palahniuk's novel of the same name, David Fincher presents us with a current character who works in an automobile insurance company, is a compulsive buyer and a faithful vividor of material pleasures, but ... his mind plays a "bad" pass. Exhausted by insomnia, he visits a doctor in the hope that he will be prescribed a drug but only gets a couple of tips: Valerian and an invitation to the support group of patients with testicular cancer. The visit to this group ends up making him fall asleep and he soon becomes addicted to all the support groups related to high caliber diseases. It is one of these meetings where he meets the beautiful Marla Singer (Helena Bonham) who seems to be his soul mate. Everything seems to improve until the day someone explodes his magazine apartment, so he decides to call the eccentric character Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) he met recently on one of his business trips. Tyler is soon in his aid and together they start what will be the new support club: The Fight Club. But... How far is the being able to get that hating is willing to sleep peacefully? Will he fight for himself? Will someone else do it for him? Maybe an alter-ego that will paint us as the person we really want to be.
