Mumbai-Ahmadabad bullet train route unveiled; In 150 minutes, from BKC to Sabarmati
It is ready for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Ahmadabad project by Ahmadabad bullet train. This is mainly the land of acquisition procedures monitored by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis who is also looking at Mumbai Bullet train from Mumbai.
Fadnavis promised to build an expert committee to look into the environmental issues. This bullet train proposal has been forwarded to the Cabinet Subcommittee and if the sub-commodity gives green light to the proposal. Meanwhile, the MOU will be signed for this train next week at the Vibrant Gujarat conference. Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray had criticized the bullet train proposal that this is only an election promise made by the BJP.
This is a high level source of MMRDA which confirms before posting. Its Mumbai Ahmadabad bullet train will start its journey from BKC. Earlier, its BKC Dadar and Kurla were being seen as possible alternatives.
Although this MMRDA is initially opposing the site because it wanted to use 40000 square meters for the international business center. It was last week that Fadnavis held a meeting with the senior MMRDA officials and he ordered them to finalize the BKC as the first station for the bullet train.
