Miguel de Cervantes in his book Don Quixote de la Mancha describes a scene in which Don Quixote attacked windmills, considering them giants. From there comes the famous phrase "to fight windmills", which means fighting a non-existent opponent or, figuratively speaking, meaningless action.
The photo was taken in the town of Sapareva Banya.
