Hey bud, nice post and good on ya to take this on. As someone already mentioned, you will not always go down in a straight line, expect stagnation and accept it as is. And don't worry about the potatoes and the beer, the most important part of a journey like yours is consistency over and staying with it. And cheat days absolutely help staying sane.

Stagnation happens, especially if the body is not rested. Consistency is like you said the key. Cheat days are not planed, but know to come around one a week due to work.
