May 30 Days Writing Challenge - Day Twenty Six: What’s Your Favorite Tool / Blockchain Explorer for Steemit?

Oh wow, it has been 26 days with this challenge. There were some topics that I did not write but for the most part, I was able to participate and write my thoughts.

When I was starting in Steemit, I did not understand about bandwidth, voting power and even how to track what was going on my account but all of this changed when I was schooled on maintaining a voting power of 80% and how to track that as well as bandwidth. So the first thing that I learned to use was.

It has everything that you need. You can check your Voting Power, your bandwidth, how long you have been in the platform and even how many posts/comments you have done.

Another cool thing that it shows is listing 100 witnesses as opposed to just the 50 in the witness page in Steemit.

Steemworld is awesome because it shows a further breakdown of things that you see in Steemd.

As you can see I have made 248 posts in 229 days and 8222 comments made. I have been a very busy person in connecting and engaging people.

You can also filter and see specific things.

This tool is one of my favorite in terms of monitoring the more altruistic side of Steem. It has the behavior of all people that vote in Steem. What topics they vote for as well as who they vote for.

How can I forget Steem.suppy. More than being able to monitor the earnings you have I see how effective my commenting is

When I first started commenting was a major source of my revenue and Steem Power in the platform. I peaked at around 25 comments but now I average about 18-20 comments outside of my posts a day and even if it doesn't contribute over 40% as it had before but commenting keeps me engaged and finding new people.

So there are so many ways to check what is going on the Steem Blockchain. Everything is transparent and you can see who are the actors, bad and good ones.

I haven't used steem ocean and steemsupply yet. Thank you for this info.
Hahaha I love the part:
You can see the actors, the good and the bad ones! ^^

You should use both of them :) They provide good information and shows your growth,

Lol yeah you will be able to see it.

Hehehe thanks for the recommendation.

Very informative post thanks for sharing..

Glad to see that you liked it and hope that you will be able to make use of these tools to better map out your growth.

I've used all of those except for steamocean. I went to go look at it though and I like it. I'll probably start looking at it more often.

By far, steemworld is the one I use the most. As far as I'm concerned it's the best combination of comprehensive information, easy navigation and decent looking UI. Even though it's just a tool to explore the database, it doesn't look as much like a database client, like steemd or steemdb does.

It's really nice to be able to see most of what you want in a window by clicking on tabs. I also like the new features that have been added recently, and I think there's more on the way.

Since we are both community and engagement like people then you would appreciate how we can track votes there and other stuff like what kind of things we vote on and other people.

Yes I agree that Steemworld is very useful tool indeed and I agree that it has the best combination of the the things you want to know about in the platform. It looks good too.

Thanks for this handy post! I’m forever lost with the many interfaces that are available to us to see our activity. :)

Thanks Linny just sharing what I can to help other people take a look and be able to measure their progress.

These are really great to use. I mostly use steamworld & steemd. I'm looking for an interface where I can view my steemit account and be able to view all the categories where I can browse different tags. I feel that the tags on steemit are very limited and there's more that I could be interested in. Busy.org doesn't really show more tags to look through. I think that's one of the problems with this site and the search engine too.

Yeah at this point Steemit and its condensers like Busy does not have the capability to show more except if you through tags and feeds of those that you follow.

Maybe wehn Hivemind and communities are finally released we will have a better way of doing things.
