Awesome post! Absolutely! I know we have soulmates and a twin flame. For me a twin flame is someone who is living at the same exact frequency or vibration as I am. We may never meet in this incarnation but we are here doing what we're supposed to be doing and we'll connect again on the other side. Soulmates are those people in my life that I feel a bond with: my husband, children, certain friends, etc.... I learn valuable lessons from my soulmates or soul families, lessons that help me to grow so that I can ascend beyond 3rd density.
Have you seen the movie" I Origins"? It's rated R for sure, so that's just a heads up. Not only does it beautifully delve into the concept that we keep our same eyes throughout all of our incarnations, that they are attached to our soul, but it also shows the soulmate and twin flame dynamics. The ending is one of the best movie endings ever in my opinion.
Thank you again for this great post on a topic that is so interesting.
Interesting take on it @weq .
I find that there are some people who I just feel inexplicably attracted to, not in a romantic or sexual way, although it's easily mistaken for that. We don't always have paths that go in the same direction, but when we meet, it's almost like connecting with another version of ourselves (this is true for all people but these people let us feel it so strongly). I feel a strong desire to protect these people and be close with them.
Then there are other people that feel like part of my tribe. We are on the same path together even if we don't see each other. It's also a strong connection but it doesn't feel as magnetic, it just kind of happens. They give me the feeling of being home, with family. We don't really need to speak, we gain energy from each other but it's all very automatic and natural, not the same intensity of the first kind I described but maybe as important.
I'm not sure what the words are for these things.
I feel the same way as you do about connections with others. I have a cousin who lives 3000 miles away. I haven't seen her in almost 18 years, but I feel so connected to her. When we talk or email it's like she is here. She is most definitely part of my tribe. Thank you for the reply. It's awesome to connect with others who know there is more to life than what we see!
