I can not really remember what you have for basics, but you could go to one of the local dentist and explain what you do for the homeless and ask if he has some extra toothbrushes and toothpaste samples that you could add to the kit. Dentist are generally friendly. Not sure if the Hospital or the local fire station has small emergency first aid kits they give out during group tours and such, but they may have something to donate, saves a few bucks for you on normal everyday type needed items. Maybe check with one of the Hotels and see about hotel toiletries, soap, shampoo, conditioner things like that, tell them why and that you would be happy to mention them in a steemit post and that you have 5500 plus daily followers.
