Hello everyone!
In one of my previous posts: https://steemit.com/money/@jckliszczak/rich-or-not-to-rich I've mentioned that I want to introduce my own, cool way of helping people in need and today I will actually reveal what the idea is all about!
My idea is to create an e-shop on Etsy platform where I could sell t-shirts. Not just some random t-shirts, but ones designed by talented people. The whole income from the sales would be donated to charities, orphanages and other charity-like organisations or even directly to people who are in need. Everything would be covered on my blog, so both buyers and artists would know where do their money/work go.
Why this way? I believe it is a three-step solution to the whole process of helping.
We help people who want to buy cool, original t-shirts. You probably won't find another one like this and you have the feeling that it was created by a talented person who put their willing to contribute in the project and that is why the whole design was created. So, you don't get just another one out of milion sold. Plus, you have a feeling that you contribute to the good cause, making change in people's life.
We help artists get acknowledged. I encourage each and every artist that I ask for a design to put ther sign somewhere on the graphic that they make. Plus, I want to put their names and social profiles in the description of a t-shirt that they made. This way the artists know for sure that their design will be strictly viewed as their own work and it will create traction to their profiles.
The last and the most important step of the helping process is where the income goes. I want to donate 100% of the income to poor and needful. To orphanages, charities, single mothers with children, homeless. Everyone who needs it. To make sure that people feel safe about their money I will show my income at the end of each month and at the beggining of the next month I will proceed to donate to charities via bank transfer or even give the money personally if there is such an option.
Giving 100% is a key to the whole process. Not only we give all we can, but this way I can ask artists for free designes, as I am not able to pay them back from the revenue and I can encourage people to buy as they know that the most from what they spend goes to the charities.
What do you think about my idea?
When I get enough designes and after I finish designing my shop I will put the link in different post, so everyone can check it out and spread the love.
Let me know what do you think!
Till the next!
