With gratitude to God almighty, @sirknight ,@darlenys , @owoblow-steemit @adedoyinwealth and the steemchurch parishioners for making the CAS 4 a success one way or another with your words of encouragement, prayers, upvotes and resteems may the good lord bless and replenish you! Amen!!
The event which was later held on the 29th(tuesday) rather than the 28th kicked off with prayers and opening speech
then fun games for the kids, there were a total of 110 children present at the event out of which 65 were from the 5 different orphanages;
- Eghosa orphanage
- Gods will Orphanage
- Remar foundation
- Good Samaritan home
- Holy child orphanage
The rest kids were those who attended the school whose hall was used for the event, that is Discovery school by technical junction.
Some of the games enjoyed included
The kids were given refreshments, drinks and snacks were made availaible for them.
Winners of the games were given gift prices.
I came a bit late to the event because first of all it rained that morning and i could not leave till it stoped raining, 2ndly the distance from were i live to the event hall is very far,i used a total of 2 tricyles and two buses to get to my destination, lastly i had to stop by the market to get the children's take home gifts which comprised of
Cheese balls
Biscuits
Sweets
And bobo milk drink!
We were able to give to the different orhanages each
- a quarter bag of rice
- a rubber of beans( which is 12cups)
- a rubber of garri
- half carton of noodles
These items were given to their various co-ordinators to take back.
The children were handed goodybags from myself and a friend of mine supersandy who also came with a bag full of goodies for the kids, there by making each kid take away two full bags of tasty treats they were more than excited
After making absolutely sure that each kid get their goodybags we took pictures with the different orphanages.
Together with the team!
These people together with my humble self and a host of other organisers comprising about 4 other people(too busy to take a picture) were the ones(with your generousity)who worked hard towards the success of the project!!
Afterwards it was dance dance dance!!
The kids sure had fun
Then interviews
I was interviewed as a major sponsor
My friend and president of team gifted showing gratitude to steemchurch and other contributors

It was such a fullfilled day!!in a nutshell it was a huge ball of success💯
Videos coming up in my next post, it is still being compiled!!
Gratitudes to everyone!!
Accurate statistics are difficult but the World Bank estimates that 1.2 billion people currently live in desperate poverty – trying to survive on one dollar or less a day. In addition to these 1.2 billion who live in almost absolute poverty, another 1.6 billion are very poor, living on two dollars or less a day. That means just a little less than half of the world’s people (2.8 billion) try to survive on two dollars a day or less [2003 statistics – World Bank Development Report]. Hunger and starvation stalk our world. Famine and disease are alive and well on planet Earth. The news is not all bad. Thankfully there has been a lot of progress in the last thirty years. Chronic undernourishment has dropped from 35% back in 1970 to 17% of the world’s population in 2002 (32 years later), in spite of rapid population growth. But there are new challenges such as AIDS, terrorism, materialism and consumerism, and the breakdown of the family.
What shall we do

One famous steemian on this platforms once said, the people who really needed help have no access to ask for it, and that's why we must be a beacon unto help, we must be a channel, a carrier of @sirknight's amazing goal of using STEEM to feed the world really.
This is fantastic, I mean look at all the happiness, we as individuals cannot do these works alone, but when we focus our ideas and cover our neighborhood with love so strong as this then it's achievable.
Well done sister, this is wonderful.
