This and that. The weeks seem to pass me by like a bullet train. I sat down to write this post and realized that there are so many places just like Sylhet. There are so many kids that still have no access to education and that still grow up to be illiterate. We are the change that the world needs. Educated locals are the ones that have the power to make the world change. Mohammed (@Azizbd) is the one who started this whole @SchoolForSDG4 movement and is now doing better and better every year. We see actual positive results and kids who can read. Little ones that contrary to their parents will actually be able to read and sign a contract. And yes, realistically speaking, it might be that not all of the little ones that are in school will escape poverty but the tools are there and the foundation has been laid. They now have a much greater chance to increase their overall circumstances.
The SBD from this post will go to the @SchoolForSDG4 account. The Steem Power will stay with me, @lindahas. It will be used later on to help fund my trip to Sylhet, Bangladesh and do something useful in real life.
Today we will talk more about that colorful room that was made for the kids. Decorations, fun, school, studies. The kids from the Elementary class were drawing to help make decorations for the classroom. The Second and Third graders helped them as much as they could. With putting the works on the walls and showcasing the good work of their comrades. Hehe, how very Russian of me. But in all seriousness, look at these cute little drawings!
Today the little ones are on holiday thanks to the religious festival that is still going full swing. I do hope they get to have a little fun instead of working on their days off but you never know. Sometimes you got to do what you got to do...
Next week there is a Science class intended at @SchoolForSDG4. The kids will be using the equipment sent in by our own one and only @Tecnosgirl who I have only heard the best things about on the Steemit platform. As I have said before, if one of the kids finds his passion in Science it might pave his future. Because no dream is too big and with non-yieldable willpower nothing is impossible.
The poultry business is bringing in some profit and helping out the school. In the future, it is quite possible that crops will be grown on the land that Mohammed's family owns and recently got back through court, from those illegal business practitioners. That, too, could help a million. Maybe they do get to build that school soon!
Overall, all the things happening are quite positive. There are balloons floating like clouds in the classroom and the colors make me happy. I am really excited because I can not wait till I, myself, get to go there.
All the pictures are recent and provided by @Azizbd. any questions about the project can be resolved with him if you are interested in helping this project and have any idea about how to make it better. He will even get up at 4 AM just to talk to somebody about ideas. Here is a link to his Steemit chat: https://steemit.chat/direct/azizbd.
If you would like to contribute by making a post, you can contact Mohammed (@azizbd) and he will provide pictures for you. Anyone spreading the word is welcome. The income from the post can be sent to @schoolforsdg4. Even a small donation from your posts means a lot to those kids.
If you have any Steem that you want to gift, donations are welcome. @SchooForSDG4 is where you want to send them. If you can't spare any Steem, because I know everybody has their lives to live and expenses that need to be covered, a simple upvote is very much appreciated. A resteem is encouraged.

I hope that one day that equipment inspires a future doctor or scientist that will make a difference or change lives. I would love to see these kids be the change their area needs to lift the whole area up. It all starts with education. @azizbd is doing great work. I am glad I was able to help actually it was the blockchain that made it happen I made a post and the community paid for the shipping in under 2 days all the money was raised to ship it to them. I had the stuff my kids are grown and no longer needed it. I have three kids and got a scientist out of one of them. So maybe it will inspire others like it did mine. I was going to give it to a home schooler when we no longer needed it but then I found out about the school and thought it could do greater good there. I am so glad they get to use it and now have a science class because of it.
You are truly an amazing person! All I hear is that you give and care and I think we need more kind-hearted people like that in the world because that can change how we live and how we see things. As for 1 out of 3 doing science, I like these odds. All I hope is that the little ones get to do what they love and maybe one or couple become scientists that will improve the life for those around them!
So impressed with everything you do, great job dear!!!
Thank you! :)
