We're Alive!
Where is Sharing Society Going?
I'm excited to say we're not giving up. I know this is the first email newsletter in literally 1 year but my conviction to build this dream (as curator of Sharing Society) and dedication to my community has never been more strong.
PERSONAL
I've been dealing with many personal issues that have made me stronger and increased my resilience and fortified my life passion as what I am building now in the Sharing Society Platform. Breakdowns, family issues, financial constraints, a breakup, developing and curing disorders, seeking help and diving into personal development full-stop; breaking through all the odds which has proved to myself I am strong enough to lead something so BIG and almost unimaginable.
LOGISTICS
Our programmer (soon to be team) has been diligently cracking away at features, security and building the back-end of our platform on SharingSociety.org - A way to offer up and trade resources is coming in just a matter of weeks to months!
View an example here of what this is starting to look like online.
We're finding new partners all the time! It's just a matter of getting us organized.
LOCAL
Homelessness and poverty continue to increase in California and our pilot city Ukiah. The government associations are realizing the problem and stepping up with services. A new website has been launched "Hand Up Not Hand Out" for Mendocino County. Recently I watched a documentary launched by singer/songwriter Jewel on homelessness driving home the point that housing first is the most efficient way to get people off the streets and back into society.
The documentary is called "Our Journey Home
With the lack of the action to build affordable housing for the many homeless and impoverished, it remains obvious the community will have to step up, each of us, and look to our own ways of solving this systemic economic and cultural problem.
Please see below how to help us.
Help Us Out
We need your support now more than ever, contact us, join the movement to change lives:
If you're in North California, Mendo/Lake/Sonoma counties especially, email your phone #, facebook link and what you can do to help. We are building a database of volunteers who want to contribute, however little or much, once we can logistically organize joint efforts!
Many thanks to those that filled out the survey already. Anyone who has not, this would be a great easy way to help us out and move forward:

T-Shirts!
We can do white and ash grey currently. We can alter the design as you like. Price we recommend is $20 per shirt though we can go cheaper in bulk or accommodate near any price you can afford, and of course the more you'd want to pay would go straight to donate to help the homeless in Ukiah, CA - Once the website is up we'll have a direct purchase option, for now please contact with the email below.
