I don't want you to take this personally, because this is not about you, but it's exactly what I talked about in my comment I wrote. I've heard this same thing many times before.

Here's the thing though:
You joined in December 2017...
The price was between $2.94 and $8.43 in January 2018.

Did you say:

"I'll wait to get a discount".

Or were you amazed over the fantastic value and wished that you would've had hundreds if not thousands of STEEM to sell?

This is one of the major problems with STEEM and the users actually. People wait... But what are you waiting for? - You've literally had a discount ever since January 2018, so what are people waiting for?

An even better deal? - Nope, I think it's more about the investment part. I might be wrong when it comes to you obviously, and this is not about you specifically like I said...

But seriously, from $8.43 to ~$0.35, and people still wait. I just can't understand it. It doesn't make sense at all.

I can totally understand that people can't afford to buy.. But wait? For what? To see the price climb again? Would you buy next week if the price was back at $1 again? - I think not.

I did not buy it then for the same reason I barely bought any now, DPOS is so far down the rabbit hole of crypto. POW is maintained by machines, POS is maintained by machines, DPOS is maintained by 20 "witnesses" and the users that vote for those witnesses. Also I do not see Steem users operating in the manner described in the white paper. Users seem to have not read it. That is why I Discount Steem.
