Thank you for sharing this. I actually joined Steemit last July of 2017 but I lost hope since I am not getting an upvote. I just came back few months ago and trying it again. This post made me realize that you have to invest first to the community, be part of it and so you will be recognized, noticed, appreciated and upvoted. I am not saying that you will not get this on your first few posts but being part of the community is different.
