What up STEEMAINS, It's one of those late night posts and wanted to do a quick post on how I made a simple mistake that cost me hundreds of dollars. π€¦πΌββοΈ
Earlier Today, I was on DTUBE and decided to do a video post just to switch it up a bit. DTUBE was kinda confusing at first but I got my way through it.Β
After a whole hour of learning it and uploading my video with some content, I thought everything looked good and instantly hit the published button. π¨πΌβπ»
A few minutes later, I realized that I accidentally clicked on "100% Power Up" which was a huge mistake! I noticed a comment from @runicar stating "Bro, are you using 100% power up!" OOPS!Β
There are lots of new people coming onto the platform the last several weeks that are doing the same mistake I did as a 7 month vet of Steemit π€£
Too all the new people out there, never power up 100% when you see SBD over $1.00, especially when SBD is over $10+. The reason why is because you can sell your SBD higher on an exchange and buy more Steem with it. Be sure to use 50/50 on all your posts! π°
So there it is, I just realized that I probably lost over $300 worth of SBD on my previous post. It's no big deal as I see it as a learning experience, don't ever rush through things and make sure double check every post ππΌ
I'm going to take the positive road on this, at least I'll be getting some more "Steem Power" to upvotes my fellow Steemians a little bit more π€
With that being said, its been a fantastic month for Steem and Steemit alone. The cryptocurrency markets are real hot right now and lots are making more money than ever before.

at least, because of your mistake @stackin, you can write this post.... and at the time of this writing you have received $ 78 upvoted and growing ...... lol :) So, you don't lose that much :) But the most important thing is because of your mistake, you enlighten me (and maybe other hundreds of steemian) which is bad on math not to make the same mistake..... thus you save our thousands of dollars steem rewards opportunity on our future posts !
Hey bro don't feel bad. I recently made a post and uploaded from a phone app not realizing that my fat finger had inadvertently hit DECLINE PAYOUT. Now I always double check so it is a lesson well learned. My minnow post wasn't even worth 1% of what you lost but every little bit counts especially for the little guy!

It's great to know that even someone like you can make these sort of mistakes. at least it didn't take too long to notice the error. And that it didn't happen last week when the disparity between Steem and SBD's values was even more!
