What's up Steemians... Another Day, Another Grind. π€
Recently I've been seeing a lot more complaints than usual by fellow users on the Steemit Platform than every before. ππΌββοΈ
People complaining about the new logo, bot voting, delegation power, and circle jerk voting to just name a few. π«
So I sat back today and tried to think why? Could it be because the Steem is dropping in value? Could it be that people upvotes are lower than it was a few month ago? Could it be that people are not getting the attention they think they are entitled too? .... hmmmm π€
What if Steem went to $10 or even $20? What if everyone's voting power was $5 Each? What if everyone was making $100 a post? π€·πΌββοΈ
You see, it really don't matter... people will still bitch and complain that the Steem price should be at $50... or why their upvote isn't worth $10 each... or even worse yet, they will still whine and cry why their posts are not $1000 each. π€£
I found out many years ago that "people" will always complain about "something" regardless what the situation is... it just human nature I guess.Β π
From time to time, I do see many people showing "Gratitude" Β what Steemit has brought to them in their lives.Β
I've already seen tons of people making $100's to $1000's a month on this platform when they never made a dime online. π°
Being grateful that this platform even exists is amazing enough... I don't see that many people complain when they post on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc... etc... not making a dime or why they don't get "likes" lol
Sometimes it's ok to complain and talk rationally among Steemians about issues that do rise at time that effects the platform and they tend to get addressed.Β
I'm not saying that bringing up certain things like making the platform better shouldn't be done but all the little bitchin needs to be stopped because it's just not helping anyone at all and making you a nuisance to everyone.
It's takes the same amount of time and energy ... too complain or having gratitude. You get to choose what route you want to take in life. π
Hope this makes some sense to all of you... I'm not here to be a D*ck but rather show people there are better ways to live your life. π¬
I'm so grateful that @Dan and @Ned created one of the first Social Media Blockchain Platforms that people can make some extra money just by posting content created by people.Β
Many years from now, people will look back at Steemitas being one of the "founding fathers" how social media should be... paving the way for major changes too all future platforms we currently use today.
You can even say I'm being contradictive as I'm bitchin' about people bitchin' but hey, you can say I'm making people think in a different way. π
With that being said guys, make it a productive week. π

I totally agree with you. I have been reading a lot of these complains and it is imbuing negative vibes. As for me I am just glad that we have steemit. I use facebook and it does not give me a single cent but i still use it. I see facebook users they don't complain about not getting paid. Here you get paid for blogging, commenting and curating that in itself we should be thankful for.

Either put up or shut up, what steemit really caters to is entrepreneur mindsets and most people don't have that mind set. With all the bitching and complaining some people do they could instead be taking action and getting to their goals. However sadly and this will always be the case 90% of people are to lazy and rather just bitch lol its sad but true.

Lol, very true. They will always complain. It is the steem price. As it gets lower people complain more. If we get much lower I would expect to see the rage quits increase and the complaints turn to doom scenario posts for steem and steemit :O)

The youtube community is horrible! But I think thats due to the design of the platform, it doesn't encourage longterm relationships between the users. So they just fight for a few minutes and then write another great comment like "2018 anybody :DxD LMAOROFL"

I remember 3 years ago, people were paying to have a block of text stored permanently in the bitcoin blockchain, like paying to advertise in the newspaper.
Now we get to do the same but for free, with a whole blogging/social media site attached, also for free.

100% correct. Its the same with your paycheck. No matter how much you earn it isn't enough. Earn $10K a year or $1Mill a year and you'll still want more and complain you're being ripped off.

We are all complainers and that hasn't to be bad in the first place. It depends how and how much we do complain and what do we do ourselves to change the situation
Complaining is really convenient because most of the time you don't need to take up responsibility on your own.
So addressing bad points is important but let's be realistic! Are we really deserving what we are claiming?
I wish for more upvotes and attention too but first I need to put in more hard work and try to build up a network and create better content.

There is no point complaining about lack of Steemit success, just play the game. Watch and see what whales do, check out their wallets. Invest in the platform. I would like to see some changes sure, but whining about it gets you ignored by the people here with the most power to change things. Even if Steemit hovers around this price for a long time I plan to stick it out

For me it's about the optics. I could care less if the whales are having an orgasmic bot fueled krispy kreme like face glazing circle jerk. I'm gonna do me.
I can tell you I've seen this before though. It's called Google+. In the early days it showed real promise as the next big thing, especially for photographers. Then it took a turn down bad optics lane and the general public wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Now it's all porn and glitter water falls.
Steemit may indeed face the same fate. Steem however will most likely live on thanks to the SMT's. Niche focused, tightly ruled little fiefdom's appealing to specific interests. Long live Steem.
Everything I life tends to fail... itβs just how short or how long. So far steemit is the only social media platform that I can earn crypto. You may have a point here.

You are 100% correct, re "don't BTCH, just fix"....but that is never the whole picture.
I find jumping the fence & looking at things from a different reality, is a great way to learn, and to grow a business.

I guess it's all rooted in seeing other users make more than them, while non of them take into account how much those users invested in steemit in form of money or time.
They think it was all luck, smh smh. Its take time and effort to do great content and build relationship on this platform. They will learn there lesson I hope :)
to be fair though, steemit is brutal for starters. even I am still learning something new about steemit that makes me question my previous decisions every now and then.

The people i usually see complaining are the ones that aren't doing so well on the platform and are disappointed because their expectation was $100 posts and they're getting $0.05 posts instead. but instead of putting their heads down and doing some work to churn out great content and make some friends and gain followers they write about everything they perceive to be wrong with the system.
in my experience complaining about stuff never gets you anywhere.
That's some real talk... I remember when people talked about Steem was at .20 last year and the people who didn't complain bought/earned Steem cam out way ahead of all the people complaining about the price :)
That's it. These kinds of times are an opportunity that you need to grab on to. If steem dropped like that again i'd be all over it buying up steem! :)
