What's Up STACKERS!
As a member of the the Steem community, it's our job to get the message out to the world. Marketing is one of the most important aspect of making it grow... without it, no one will know about it and eventually die a slow death. 😳
If you guys have been following me for a while, you may know that I love promoting the Steem blockchain to my followers on Social Media. 💁🏼♂️
It seems to me that there are lots of people here on Steemit that don't do that and it makes me wonder why? 🤷🏼♂️
There are so many people saying they are leaving Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and Snapchat for Steemit, this doesn't make sense to me.
There are Billions of people on those platforms currently, why not leverage your followings into something great like Steemit or D.Tube.
I've been promoting my ass off 🤣 the last 6 months about Steemit and brought in hundreds or even thousands of people to this platform just talking about it on other Social Media sites since I joined.
What this does, it creates momentum and everyone starts talking about it... Just check out what happen to Cardano, Verge, and Tron just to name a few. How the heck did they all climb to the top 20 of Crypto's of all time in like one month!! They don't even have a working product!
They were pumped massively on Youtuber by influencers. Then something else happened, every damn comment area of all the Crypto Channels, people were shouting out hundreds of messages to talk about Cardano, Verge, and Tron... I still see it this day, it's pretty crazy.
For example, did you see the massive "Crypto" pumps John Mcafee did on his twitter account last month. He practically single handly pumped up a company named Verge to the top 20 on Coinmarketcap single handily.
There is nothing special about the Verge company and just within a few weeks, it was comparable to Dash and Monero who's been around for years! 😳
I don't want to beat a dead horse over and over again but if we want mass adoption and become this so called great "Social Media" platform, we as a community must start getting the message out. I can't do it alone but if just thousands of us start doing that, Steem is going to be talked about everywhere.
... and another note, when you start marketing Steem and they decided to join... guess what happens? They will look up to you and become your greatest fans... which means, tons of upvotes. 🤑
Alright guys, I'm done. I've been writing longs posts lately and I know time is short for all of us and I do appreciate you guys for taking the time to stop by reading some of my ideas and opinions.
The markets are so RED today that I almost didn't even want to do a post because I was looking for some great deals to Stack up on. 😬

Stackin I'm trying hard man. Steemit is a hidden gem that is going to be popular in the near future. Thanks for the motivation. It comes down to consistency and building up that community. I've been shouting from the rooftops trying to get everyone I know to ditch their platforms and come join our community. Soon they all will! What's your recommendation for helping onboard them easily?
Make it simple as possible, you just tell them sign up haha
I've got friends waiting who never receive the account activation e-mail. Seems like there's a massive backlog for new accounts
It did take my account two weeks but i also have some people that are either missing the pin for the mobile verification so many some people are over looking that but my account yeah took a while

We have so many people here, it just seems that the “old school” people here just talk with each other in the community and don’t like new people coming on board lol
There are few Youtubers that are doing a pretty good job at promoting this site like Vincent Briatore, Doug Polk Crypto, etc.
I joined this site like a week ago, and they were the main reason I joined this site, alongside with my brother who's been a member here for a month.
You just read my mind, been following Vincent and Doug for a while, they have huge followings on youtube. This is just the beginning, I see tons of youtubers with huge followings are marketing Steem and D.tube heavily. :)
Wow! That Twitter shot was impressive... I participated in a Twitter thunderclap for Steemit recently. Seems like a brilliant idea to try again soon. I’m also sharing my posts there as well to get the Steemit name in front of more eyes.
I also did, got tons of people to promote it at the same time, great idea!
I agree and I have told my family about it. That being said I dont really want to promote something until I have a solid base and know what I am doing and/ or doing wrong. Then I will pro ote may ass off to my 1,500 + friends on facebook. But at this point they would come in look at my account and wallet and they would probrbly say, your not doing so well or something like that. Lol
It’s still better what they are doing now haha
as the mr Branson says you find an opportunity that you like but don't fully understand just run with it and work it out as you go along. What I see here is lions. We focus on sharing value and giving out an opportunity for other people to grow an audience in their niche and the rewards will come. You wont be an apprentice for much longer, stand up and become a jedi! :)
Have you read any of my posts? I think one of the problems is that so many people that have been here forever are to busy promoting the channel. But not promoting the new minnows. The Apprenticegiligan is. Silver = Ag Gold=Au
well i can't comment on the past ive only been here for 3 weeks but all my team memebrs get one on ones with everything that I have discovered so far. I believe in giving people the right tools and education from day 1 so that they use them for a life time. Also my new team are getting email training which will be daily and before any one puts a blog up I do a tour share screen and through my discord channel they have a team that im coaching to look after people. My upvotes even though they do not carry much weight right now I focus on giving to the new people. The concept....We Climb When We Reach Out and Lift Others :) Im using a lot of past experience from other things that I have done and as a saxophone player musician and entertainer Im all about lifting people up :)
I totally agree with and I am always spreading the news about how awesome is Steem/Steemit! Maybe if we had Jeff (altcoin buzz) on our side, the price wil rise :))

I'm 7/7 today! These are the days I love Steemit. Keeps me from being distracted by the sales so I can wait and get those rock-bottom deals.

This is exactly why we are crowdsourcing a free Musician's Guide to Steemit! I hope other people will also consider doing marketing projects to build the steem community to new heights.

Great post today! This is the kind of stuff we need to be focused on... bringing in the new blood! If we follow your example there will be a day when Bitcoin and Crypto market downtrends will not effect Steem!

Blogging isn't everyone's cup of tea so we need to show them there are other things like dlive and dtube. Thats what I've been telling friends about but it does take them awhile to get used to the concept first and maybe join when they are ready.
That makes tons of sense, it took many years for me to convince people to sign up for facebook and Instagram lol

Yes yes yes, promoting STEEM Blockchain and attracting new users is something that everyone here should do - Because in the end of the day, when the value of STEEM goes up, we who hold STEEM benefit the most too!!

By showing non-Steemians how life-changing the STEEM Blockchain is, hopefully we can convince new users to come onboard every episode!

I love spreading the word about Steemit to my 15,000 followers on Twitter. I have multiple social media accounts in which to share what's great about our platform.

We have been officially branded the crazy Steemit Advocates who has been pushing people to ditch Facebook and Instagram and use Steemit and all its condensers.
Just to share how effective we have been from 10 active people in the group and we are nobody! Just word of mouth.

Good job! My motivation came from a negative. Second week in FB banned me from posting and all my fan pages locked away from the public. The ban is lifted tomorrow it made me hit back and I found it so easy to attract people on instagram and twitter, Steemian troopers are coming get excited!! :)

I think this is important, I would like to make a campaign in my city to bring this to person and be in Steemit only that in my country the cryptocurrencies are prohibited since the government wants to have control over everything, but there is no law that prohibits them, It would be all different.

get screencast-o-matic a free laptop app yhat will give you up to 155 minutes recording time per video and you can screen share. it gives you the option of having your face on camera or hiding behind it your choice and there is an app for a mobile called AZ screen recorder which does the same on a smartphone. If you are serious about videos which it sounds like you are come and ask me for a free youtube ranking video. i used the training from this to rank two steemit videos on first page of youtube. lets do it! :)

Yeah, I never try to force it on people... I just talk about it on social media and if they want to see more of my content, they have too see it is on Steemit lol

I've brought about 5 people on, the key is to not try and sell them too hard, these days people are very skeptical and they needed warmed up to the idea that a platform that costs nothing and can reward you, like Steemit, exists

steam did not do a good job blocking bitconnect pumpers right here in there own platform with influcnce - they that exposed a venerability that needs to be addressed with money and influence promoting a scam i cant believe more community members didn't get behind the scam comments and up vote them? some have failed the system
There's no denying the virtues of Steemit and the very positive effect it has had around the developing world to get people out of poverty and give them a real base to advance.
But like every human enterprise there are fiddles built into it. Excesses and abuses which corrupt it.

Pump & Dump hype which invariably harms those least capable of taking losses
Some crusaders are trying to get action to clean up Steemit's act for the common good

That is how you build a strong community if everyone of us invites lets say 5 people and after that they invite another 5 people here it is ! Promoting the platform is very important. There should be more meet ups in the cities, that helps a lot :)

Getting people hyped about joining before a platform is ready to accommodate those users is a disaster waiting to happen. We need to fix the issues that cause the terrible user retention first before we can start hoping that anything will moon based on pageviews increasing. Whales need to make sure that the experience is worthwhile if they want to actually grow their stake, right now they're fighting to keep what they have and it will stunt the growth of steemit permanently if they keep at it.
Pushing to much ain't gonna bring new users, its sounds desperate! Some people just need time. When I first signed up for Facebook back in the days I only checked once a month in the first year.. This kind of posts are not good for new Steemit users to read. Its like we only care about the money in Steemit and not the social stuff.. New users gonna read this and think, hey these guys are panicking because the cryptocurrency went down, they only care for the STEEM price! Chill, of Steemit ia as good as we all believe users gonna come, no bullying in needed.
Not saying push it, talk about it and make people aware of it just like what most did with FB. :)
