I think it can. Supported by Steemit and Dtube in time the platforms will become a real competitor for Youtube, Reddit and others. Steemit probably needs more work, it's still a bit clunky as a blogging platform, and if the developers were able to create a sort of facebook offshoot, which is just for friends and family to connect, I think Steem has a real chance of achieving $100 plus. Maybe even much higher if a large proportion of users from other platforms migrate to Steem related platforms.
