I'm always spun out by how small kingfishers actually are, I mean I see kookaburras semi-regularly around here so I know they're not huge but somehow I have the impression that they're bigger XD
It is indeed watercolor splash with some ink!
I like using "wind" (me blowing) and tissue/TP to change the opacity/saturation of the fresh colors!
I have never seen a Kookaburra!
