Hi, fellow distinguished community members!
I wanted to address an important matter that has come to my attention recently - my blacklisting and the allegations of plagiarism against me. I'm writing this blog post to appeal these decisions and clarify my position.
Blacklisting Due to Content Created through AI:
First and foremost, I want to express my sincere apology for any misunderstandings that may have arisen. Some of my content was created using AI tools like ChatGPT and DALL·E. Back then, due to the novelty of ChatGPT, I wasn't aware of the requirement to disclose AI-generated content. I now understand the importance of transparency and assure you that I won't repeat this oversight. In the future, I'll avoid creating essay posts with AI and explicitly mention when AI tools have been utilized in my other work.
Addressing Plagiarism Claims:
Now, let's talk about the plagiarism allegations. One of the articles under scrutiny is titled "The Greatest Minds Also Had the Greatest Hearts | Vegetarianism of Historical Figures." [link: https://peakd.com/veganism/@krishool/the-greatest-minds-also-had-the-greatest-hearts-or-vegetarianism-of-historical-figures] I want to clarify that this article was indeed created by me. It was inspired by my admiration for public figures advocating a plant-based diet. While I previously shared a similar version on a now-expired, Facebook account, the content submitted to the community was thoroughly revised, expanded, and enriched with new insights through ChatGPT. I still have the draft which I'm happy to provide as evidence. I've not seen any evidence of the article up on another website and if it has made its way online, I assure you that it was my original, the figures were hand-picked by myself, and it includes numerous cited quotes but the content is my original work.
The second article in question revolves around "Zero Point Energy, Tesla, and Related Concepts. [link: https://peakd.com/society/@krishool/unlocking-the-potential-of-zero-point-energy-a-viable-solution-for-clean-and-unlimited-energy]
I concede that I utilized AI-generated prompts referencing quotes by Nikola Tesla and Max Planck. However, the version created underwent significant rewriting to present the ideas through ChatGPT. I firmly believe that rewriting well-established concepts through ChatGPT doesn't constitute plagiarism, however, I understand this may be considered by some to be fraudulent.
Looking Ahead
I genuinely value the principles of our community, and my intention has never been to deceive or violate any guidelines. I had a previous incident several years prior for posting memes and not stating they were not my original content as I was unaware of the requirement to do so, but I have not repeated this since. I apologize for any inadvertent violations of community guidelines and promise to be more vigilant in the future.
I want to be a positive and ethical participant, contributing constructively to our community's growth. Perhaps it would be an idea to impose a Terms and Conditions Update for people to be made aware of and agree to before using the platform, in order to improve transparency of the guidelines.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, I kindly appeal for a reconsideration of my blacklisting and the plagiarism accusations against my articles. I stand by the integrity of my work and assure you that my work is rooted in genuine effort and creativity.
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post. I'm grateful for the support and wisdom of our community and believe in a fair resolution.
With gratitude,
Krishool
