His questions are very good. It seems to me there are two ways to do a checkmate

Kg4 - rf8
Qd5 - kh8
A8 - r x A8
Q x ra8 - qb8
Q x qb8

The second way

Kh4 - re8
Qd5 - kh8
Nf7 - kg8
Nh6 - kh8
Qg8 - r x g8
Nf7

The third way
Q x h1
Bb3 - kh8
Nf7 - kg8
Nd8 - kh8
Rf8
