Poking the Chess Community

Hello there

So there's this cool app for playing and learning chess called, guess what, chess.com

Apart from being able to play chess with random people around the world 24/7, you can also play against bots. Some bots are co stants and some are theamed, monthly changed bots. Including my nemesis: Frankenisla.

This month they introduced 5 bots as usual. Of course I'm not concerned about the highest rated one cause he's 3000 elo. (I'm like 1100-1200 when I have enough time to think lol)

The 2nd highes is 1700 elo, or at least she was in the beginning of the month. A couple of weeks later (suring which I tried hard to beat her) she upgrated to 1800 elo. Apparently the more people play against the bots the faster they learn.

On week three, even after her upgrate, I managed to finally beat Frankenisla and I was so happy I took a screenshot for bragging purposes. I'm sure beatin a 1800 elo bot should come with bragging rights, right? After all it took me at least 30 or 40 tries to do it.

Ok, that's the context of this post, but what I really wanted to do here is to see if there's a good chess community on hive and try to get in hehe. I would love to have worldwide chess buddies.

This is me on chess.com
