Dear Chessfriends,
in round 6 we were again 8 players and we had again a new winner, despite @jaki01 was present this time. Out of nowhere @iceblue (Splitrooks) came and rocked the show with 16 points and a performance of 2337, dwarfing the remaining lineup of players! Congratulations to such a kickstart into the tournament!
Second was @jaki01 with 8 points, followed by a group of 3 players, @bitsignal, myself and @schamangerbert (HerbyW), all with 6 points, from which @bitsignal had the by far best tournament performance.
6th rank went to @pereu4ivatel (drak0nb) who had a tough pairing in this strong field today and the other places went to doc-holliday and @rodrook who were quite unlucky today.

Doc-holliday and clinton210 are not ranked until I have a Hive name of them.
No big changes in the standing today, @jaki01 could defend his first place.
@bitsignal could climb one place up to the 7th rank and @iceblue (Splitrooks) placed himself to the 8th rank.
By the way, in case two players end up with the same number of points after the 10 rounds, the one who played less rounds is first (he achieved more points per round). If both have played the same number of rounds, then the average tournament performance makes the difference. The other rules you can look up in the announcement and reminder posts.
4 rounds to go and still a lot of points to allocate. So keep playing to increase your chances!
Any suggestion for the time mode of the next round??

I believe one of the strongest fields this season.
My opening and mid games wasn’t that bad but I could get no wins in this strong field with a very weak end games.
However I am looking forward to tomorrow tournament.

Ah, didn´t know that it is called Swedish, yes once I played it in our chess club, long time ago. Was fun!
