In Belgium for life is for life.. Luckily.
His lawyer of course is asking for a release. Since he M.D. is all ready in his 60's. However I don't think Belgium government will ever let M.D. out. I would expect some major riots.
And this is probably Belgium's biggest scandal so the government rather let it rest. in 1996, 300.000 folks walked a mars in Belgium in honour of the murdered children and against the government.
To keep it short: He will never get out.
