In a horrific scene, two three-and-ten-year-olds jumped from the third floor, after their house caught fire.
A video clip documenting the accident showed that the older child threw his three-year-old brother from the window of the blazing house, to be gathered by a number of residents who were below, before throwing himself moments later.
Residents of the neighborhood in the French city of Grenoble managed to save the two children, after they jumped from an estimated distance of 12 meters.
