What is the child?
The child is a human being who is in a stage, rather, at a time of its development and possesses own qualities or characteristics. He is not a miniature man, he is simply a being that has been in a transitory stage and for his training position.
In this context, what the child can become is unpredictable because his possibilities are unlimited and his freedom is unlimited. In the same way, what the child should be in the future will depend, to a large extent, on the role played by parents, the family and, especially, teachers or educators.
The responsible role of the aforementioned elements can work, instilling ideals, aspirations and virtues, in the children under their responsibility, adapted people, citizens willing to build a society and a better world every day.
The child is made of the medium
If friend, as indicated by the subtitle, the child is a make, is a product of the medium. Forgetting something of the innate, we have to accept the almost decisive influence of the environment in the formation of the child.
This training task logically corresponds to the parents and teachers. Therefore, our responsibility as educators, remember that whoever writes plays the role of teacher, is immense and we can not ignore it.
In this context, we must recognize that it is an intelligent teacher who knows how to surround the child with a social environment that is as excellent as possible and, above all, he who knows how to teach the child that he is the one who must build this environment seeking and making their own the most favorable stimuli for the human and spiritual formation.
It would be wonderful if, in that process of formation, the teacher created that special climate, so that his students could be trained in all aspects of his personality. If the child is offered an environment of dedicated feelings, of tranquility, joy and affection, the child will surely grow up with a healthy mentality.
To conclude, this first installment, it is appropriate to highlight that the reality of the influence of the environment, especially social, is based on the fact that the child is a receptive being par excellence ... definitely, they are sponges.
