After developing a base with it's radicle under the surface, the chili is now pushing with it's seed leafs through the surface into the light. It needs the light as soon as possible to emancipate itself from the energy storage of the seed. You can see the light green color which means there's already some photosynthesis going on. There is a good chance the cover of the seed is still on the top of the seed leaf. But sooner or later the leaf will wipe this cover off. By the way the white covering on the surface is the mycelium of a fungi. I kept the soil too wet and the airmovement too non-existing but the plants are doing well and the mycelium is already decreasing so i got this going for me. There are some people who call the mycelium the internet of the plant and I won't be the one closing the chatroom of my chilies.
