End of An Era : Bitcoin China - What's next?

TODAY (September 30) marked the end of a very profitable era of cryptocurrencies in China.

The Chinese government had announced earlier this month for all exchanges to close down operations face legal action. The move came as a result in a rapidly growing ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings).

1) Why would the government do this while creating their own cryptocurrency?

2) What's next for China and it's millionaires?
