This is pretty neat idea! In the United States the inland waterways like the Mississippi, the Ohio River and many reservoirs could all be good locations for this kind of floating technology. Rivers have to find channels and the floating powerplant would need to be out of the navigation channel, but lots of available acreage is there to be taken are managed by the United States Corps of Engineers. Wonder how much something like this could lower the overall price of energy?
This is amazing! China is really leading the way I feel in many ways, but this is something we need here in the U.S, like where @indianajimz said this could work very well in that area.
