This video from Broadly explains why women who became independent of men in China by having careers and putting this above having a family and relationships, ends up with them being leftover and viewed as too old (beyond 27) and infertile to mate with the people who want they want to mate with. By being wealthier and successful I imagine they will not settle for any man so many are left trapped by this and Chinese men's view of women as they age. I mean it is logical and factual to say fertility begins in the teens and ends for the most part in the late thirties, so beyond the age of consent there isn't that much time to have children, especially if a woman wants a career. I'm not convinced what is best for people just that this situation exists. Broadly explains why.
