LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE
If you are a Christian or probably a Bible reader, you may have come across this. If nothing you will hear or have heard it on radio or TV. In spite of the theology, Let’s talk about career.

Letting your light shine can be explained in so many ways. In career, I will brand it that you let the ‘YOU’ be known. No one cares about the candle when there is light and during the day. That’s because the ‘YOU’ about a candle is that it provides light in darkness. The darkness in your life can refer to both opportunity and hardship. The reason why the world will pay any amount for few people boils to the fact that, whoever is at the receiving end has made a name. That name is what can be referred to as the light that is shining. In whatever group or work you may find yourself, a personal light is very vital for success. If you will be remembered by anyone to take up a task, it’s because at the time, your light shone in their heads.
The same way the Bible will ask that you let your light shine before all men. It perfectly depicts what some of us are lacking. Knowledge is abundant. Who knows you have them? Mostly though, it’s not the words. Actions speak louder. When people talk about the most honest person in your field will it be you? What of that time-conscious guy or lady they can’t do away with? Will you be the name if they need to get the job done? What will people think about when your name is mentioned? Whatever is it you do, do it with all greatness and might you can. Mostly, people describe us better than we describe ourselves. Your mission here is to make that description count.

Let it be one that will open doors. Something about you that will let people have no problem waiting for you. You can’t be the best, you can be best at YOU! Going back to the candle scenario, you will have to be lightable. Usefulness is the other form in the process of making it big. Not much can be said because by now, you can imagine some of the lights that YOU light in peoples head. If it’s not lights that can be useful, gladly make changes.
