Greetings fellow Steemians.

Psalm 100 King James Version (KJV)

1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Amen.. God bless.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
so touching! Thank you! Amen

This form of worship is based on the worship that took place during the 3 annual pilgrimage festivals in Israel. All the men were required to fulfill the command by the LORD to be present at the appointed time and gather at the temple in Jerusalem.

As they sang the Psalms of Ascent (climbing up to the Temple Mount), they entered the gates with thanksgiving (remembering the great miracles of God) and His courts with praise (focusing on the greatness of the LORD.

Thanks for sharing that - God bless.

You're very welcome. As a Jewish believer in Jesus as the Messiah and the Son of God, I have some unique insights into the scriptures. I hope that you will check out some of my posts. Shalom, Steven Sherman @lastdays
