Yea,we should always trust in God for direction in our everyday life,let ur confidence be on him alone,seek him all the time,Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
I love the consistency of the bible, ot and nt teach the truth and are of one mind. People say otherwise, but you can plainly see the consistency with your post and the famous nt, Matthew 6:33
"Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you also."
