WORD FOR TODAY

Heaven is the eternal abode of those who overcome sin and satan in this sinful world. The consciousness of eternity with God in view will go a long way to place your life in absolute preparation for Heaven!!!

Scriptural Reference

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth." (Colossians 3:1-2 NKJV).

The silent question in the heart of men each time a man dies is that; will he make heaven? Had it been am the one that died; where will I be? As you go about your daily activities be mindful of the fact that you may be called into eternity unprepared. The greatest motivation you have as a Christian is in the fact that Jesus has promised to prepare a place for you (John 14:1).

Therefore, lay up your treasure in heaven because you can never take your heart away from where your treasure is. Make righteousness, holiness, faithfulness a lifestyle in all affairs of your life.

Many people who heard, read, spoke, taught, thought, argued and preached about heaven have passed unto eternity to come into its reality. As it is an obvious fact that we also will surely die someday; it is important to always evaluate ourselves if we are heavenly bound.

Question For Meditation:

  • Will you make Heaven?

Prayer Point:

Lord! Deliver me from sin and every secret fault that can hinder me from making Heaven in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Main Emphasis:

Life is given to prepare for eternity!!!

"Life is given to prepare for eternity"

Such a great point. While the earth isn't our home, we are still here for an eternal purpose.

Yes. This earth is just a market place. Heaven is our home and we must always be prepared to go home

@fatherfaith. Thanks for reminding us of what should really be our number 1 focus. Thanks once again.
