As Gods fellow workers we urge you not to receive Gods grace in vain.
For he says, In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. I tell you, now is the time of Gods favor, now is the day of salvation. 2 CORINTHIANS 6:1-2
Grace is the power, presence, and blessing of God experienced by those who receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
It is the loving hand of God stretching to help in ones helplessness. Being divine, grace enables the one receiving it to go beyond the ordinary.
John makes it clear that Jesus Christ is the fullest expression of Gods grace.
JOHN 1:14-18
14:And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
15:(John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”)
16:For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
17:For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18:No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
And through Christ, grace and truth are made available to believers to the fullest extent; From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another (v. 16).
This means that a constant impartation of grace and power is given to those who believe and respond to the grace of God given to them.
It follows that grace is not just theoretical, it is experiential hence, We have seen his glory ... we have all received .... (vv14 &16).
Counting on the blessings of being in a relationship with God, the Psalmist declared, Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits (Ps. 103:2).
The Lord who helps us, favors us, delivers us, heals us and lots more is gracious.

Lord Jesus, help me to live daily in appreciation of your grace upon my life.
