Most times in life, what you wish for or crave after badly wouldn't just cross your path by coincidence, not because those that enjoys such are better off or because you are not worth enjoying the goodies of life but because nothing really worth it in life is free. There is a price that has been paid for every good thing enjoyed under the sun, it might be unknowing to you but it is never a factor of coincidence. The salvation of world wasn't by coincidence, it took God to sacrifice his best and at the same time someone gave himself for it as well in the person of Jesus Christ the saviour of the world.
There are factors that determines ones worthiness of enjoying life:
Knowing and acceptance of oneself: the first person you deserve to understand and to love is yourself, trying to understand and love people for who they are without self love is tantamount to sorrow. You can't give what you don't have
Giving is living: the life of a miser is filled with sorrow. Being able to even be a solution to the problems of others is a solution to that of oneself, deep down the darkest portion of the heart, giving gives one a sense of fulfillment and peace. Luke 6:38 ► New International Version says:
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."Be Contented: the good book according to Timothy 6:6 ► New International Version says:
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
The tragedy of greed can't be overemphasized. To live a fulfilled life is beyond having so much wealth but also to be wealthy in the virtue of contentment at a very much larger extent.
