13 And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
The Israelites at this time always considered the training of their children a high priority. Many wanted them to be true to the Lord and not guided by the pagan world around them. Only in righteousness we will be established. There was a time when we had the same thought and didn't mind being a peculiar people which God called us to be.
1 Peter 2:9 KJV
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
We have allowed the enemy to feeds us lies and in turn he has gained more influence over lives then God. We would rather compromise the gospel instead of standing up for it and keeping true to who we are.
If faith and trust in Christ isn't passed down from one generation to another. How do you expect for it to live on and be effective in the present age? Are we are ashamed to train our kids in the the word of God? Read what Joshua asked?
Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
God has gureented us success and a properous life but let me take it a step further. Everyday will not be a bed of roses but with Gods grace and mercies we will and can make it. Peace and safety are the heritage of those who trust in the Lord also. No matter what the world or the enemy throws our way, we are victorius because God controls them both.
Bless be the name of the Lord. Amen

This is a really good idea to be write posts on scriptures daily but I think if you could add a little life application or relate the scriptures to things happening in the world presently,it will be pretty cool.
