"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today". - Mat. 6:34
It is a known fact the worries have led to some serious health conditions like depression and acute anxieties. Oh! If only we can heed Jesus' counsel, then we can reduce our problems to the size we can easily manage day by day.
It is similar to someone who has say, 700kg of weight to carry from point A to B in 10 days, and he decides to do the carriage in just one fell swoop. He could be pulverized to death in the process as a result of excessive stress on him. But how wise will it be if he decide to employ practical wisdom and rather take on the loads in units of 7kg per day. His challenge would be lighter.
We all have daily loads to carry as individuals, attempting to add tomorrow's load to today's own in order to carry them all at onces is clearly a lack of divine wisdom and could be suicidal. How wise is Jesus' counsel found at Matthew 6:34. We can benefit greatly only if we apply it to help us checkmate our excessive worries.
