Meditation: Mark 9:14-29
Mark 9:23 “Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
In this amazing story, we see the most important truths revealed on how to receive a miracle from God and how to minister miracles from God.
To receive miracles from God, “…only believe, all things all things are possible to him that believeth.” The father of this needy boy was questioning the inability of the disciples to cast out this devil from his son. Even when he met Jesus, he was still questioning His ability. He said “...if you can do anything...” but Jesus said in effect “No! It is not if I can. Even if I can and you do not believe, you may not receive.” After all, this same Jesus carried all of His power and anointing to Nazareth, His hometown in Mark 6, and He could not do much there because their unbelief hindered Him.
On the other hand, no matter how much faith the recipient has, the vessel ministering must be carrying some power for anything to happen. You must have received something from God before you can stand up to give it to another. In Acts 3, Peter said “… such as I have I give to you.” According to Jesus, fasting is an effective way to consecrate yourself to God so that a miracle working level of authority and power can function through you.
Notable from the passage is the fact these same disciples of Jesus had operated in miracles earlier by delegated authority; but since they had not developed in their own personal lives, they felt incapacitated when Jesus was not physically present. They could do nothing at all.
Jesus, on the other hand never needed to go off somewhere to prepare whenever He needed to minister to anyone. He lived a prepared life, so that whenever the need arose, He always had something to give. So we see that no situation is so desperate that He cannot step in and change by a miracle, for “Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, and today, and forever!”
CONFESSION
I serve the God of miracles. I shall never again be stranded or frustrated in my business or in my career anymore. My God will make things work for me as I trust Him. At His command, I go forth, and by His command, I receive mega results. Mega breakthroughs are coming my way as I act on His Word in Jesus Name (Amen). Hallelujah
AMEN!!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!! @kyrian you are deep in the flow of God's grace. Have you see this scripture "You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace."
-Galatians 5:4.
You don't need to work hard. The more you rest in His love covenant the more you realize that you already have everything you desire to own in Him..

You're taking scripture verses out of context. Jesus was talking to a man who asked to be healed.
(Mark 9:22-25 NIV) "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us." {23} "'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." {24} Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" {25} When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit. "You deaf and mute spirit," he said, "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."
(Acts 14:9-10 NIV) He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed {10} and called out, "Stand up on your feet!" At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.
In some cases the person to be healed had to have enough faith. But miracles don't happen like that today. The dead aren't raised. The blind don't receive their sight. And so on.
