2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
This verse is God’s answer to Solomon’s prayer in 6:38-39. Solomon’s asked the Lord, “If they return and pray, then hear from the heavens.”
God’s response was? “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
My prayer to God, for the people of God, is that they would return and pray.
My prayer to God is that He would then hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal our land.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If My People

People take this out of context but it's clearly meant for Israel. Not America. Americans have never been God's people called by God's name. Let's look at more of the passage.
(2 Chronicles 7:11-14 NIV) When Solomon had finished the temple of the LORD and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the LORD and in his own palace, {12} the LORD appeared to him at night and said: "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices. {13} "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, {14} if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
When God finally punishes America for murdering 50 million unborn children, and pays back America 4 for 1 like someone who stole a lamb, then it will be for Americans who sinned to repent. Not for the church to repent when they're not guilty.
God can't heal our land if he hasn't punished us for the vast sins of America.
There is clearly an application for all of God's people - the saved.
