Salvation: Art or Science?

Matthew 19:
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

We understand science. We understand math. But art? I believe art can only be fully understood by it's creator. When one looks at art, one cannot fully experience the driving force behind it. If we do believe we fully understand art, we have turned it into science. Or math. We have applied definites to something not meant to be defined.

I believe this is similar with faith and salvation. We understand the sentences in the bible. We understand a lot of context behind those sentences. But that doesn't mean we can speak for the Holy Spirit. That doesn't mean we know how we fit into God's plan. We shouldn't be so confident in our mathematic/scientific understanding of our faith/salvation. Our existence is a work of art that is to be admired. It is a work of art that we all have a piece of developing.

Titus 3:
6 God poured out the Holy Spirit abundantly on us through Jesus Christ our Savior

Learn about Jesus. Learn from others. Learn from what the Holy Spirit has revealed to us. You are loved. Love others.

1 Corinthians 12:
7 The Spirit’s presence is shown in some way in each person for the good of all.

Notice how the Holy Spirit is not revealed the same way to us all. Now lets show how He was revealed to further this work of art that is us. He is here. Now. And always.
