Today's tonic: where is your faith?
Text: Mark 4:36-41
Confession: I receive the grace for increment of faith in Jesus name.
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Hello good morning, welcome to God's alter where we have encounter with God on daily basis, I pray that the God you have come to seek will find you in Jesus name, Amen.
For the past few days now we have been talking about love (how beautiful that concept is), but today we want to quickly examine faith.
Faith is one of the most known concept in Christianity but less practiced. As a child of God, it is expected of us to certain level of faith, without it we can't even come to God.
Even, with just a little faith, you can move a big mountain
Today's focus is not to lay the foundation of faith again, but encourage us to wake our faith up.
Look at the example in the scripture above(Mark 4:36-41) , they have their faith with them, but the faith was sleeping because they don't put it to work.
Despite the shout, the fear and many other things they might have done as expert when it comes to sailing, no miracle happened until they woke up the faith.
I don't know for how long you have been facing with that issue, but I implore you to let your faith be alive today and you will have the miracle of your life.
Dormant faith can't produce any tangible result, it is the active faith that do the impossible.
Peace I leave with you, may the peace of God that surpasses all understanding rest and abide with you now and forever in Jesus name, Amen
