Matthew 5:11‭-‬12 NKJV‬ - “Blessed are you when they revile(bad-mouth) and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Man, that Pride of Life is something else. I have been studying the Bible for about 30 years, and I feel like I’ve only just scratched the surface. Some think because they studied to be a Bible teacher they have all the knowledge, and can’t be corrected; even by the Word of YHVH(God)! So I’m also curious, what should be expect when men change what is already good with what they think better reflects what people need to hear?

Luke 11:44‭-‬48 NKJV - Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like graves which are not seen, and the men who walk over them are not aware of them. ” Then one of the lawyers answered and said to Him, “Teacher, by saying these things You reproach us also.” And He said, “Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs.‬‬‬

The Mishnah Link

While following 613 commandments would be hard enough, over time Jewish leaders began to slowly add to these laws in the Mishnah... This additional teaching is an ongoing compilation of sermons and sayings by Jewish rabbis meant to interpret the original Mosaic Law. The original intent of these additions was to clarify the law, but it ended up adding many layers of complicated regulations. This Mishanh was already lengthy in Jesus’s day and continues to grow to this day. So for the Pharisees, they not only tried to follow the 613 commandments of the Mosaic Law, but the literally thousands of new commandments that were created to clarify the original 613 commandments.

Luke 11:52‭-‬54 NKJV - “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.” And as He said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things, lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Him in something He might say, that they might accuse Him.‬‬‬

Refection:

Jewish Rabbi’s added to the Law and refused to teach from sections of the persecuted Prophets writing who taught the True Word of YHVH(God), and modern day Christian’s teach that the Mosaic Law that the persecuted Prophets taught has been nailed to the cross instead of the Mishnah with its additions. What a mess, with both leaving behind a Frankenstein of New Religions which I guess is right on time to usher in the New World Order.

Malachi 3:16‭-‬18 NKJV - Then those who feared the Lord(YHVH) spoke to one another, And the Lord(YHVH) listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord(YHVH) And who meditate on His name. “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord(Elohim) of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.” Then you shall again discern Between the righteous(right-doers) and the wicked, Between one who serves God(YHVH) And one who does not serve Him.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Personal notes:

  1. To say one thing and do something which is the complete opposite, is the typical meaning of being a hypocrites. That means kids today have it tough, because the mantra of “do as I say, and not as I do” is still the message of today. Making the passage about “a double minded man is unstable in all his ways” have a deeper meaning.

  2. To be labeled as dead on the inside or a grave, is another way of saying someone has a narcissistic mindset.

Thanks for the encouragement!
Also when I think of Malachi I always think of.....

Malachi 4:4 "Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments."

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to study with me. Be blessed!
