Jeremiah 23:16-17 NKJV - Thus says the Lord(Elohim) of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets(teachers) who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord(YHVH) . They continually say to those who despise Me, ‘The Lord(YHVH) has said, “You shall have peace” ’; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’ ”
Can you do me a solid, and that would be to correct me; if I am in error in any anything I post in links and/or share? My goals are not mine but His, my purpose is not to shame you but to share the love with a little salt, so WE can have a closer fellowship with the Father of creation; by LIVING as Yeshua(Jesus) did and that’s by faith!
Matthew 22:28-36 NKJV - Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her.” Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God(YHVH). For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God(YHVH) in heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God(YHVH), saying, ‘I am the God(Elohim) of Abraham, the God(Elohim) of Isaac, and the God(Elohim) of Jacob’ ? God(YHVH) is not the God(Elohim) of the dead, but of the living.” And when the multitudes heard this, they were astonished at His teaching. But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, “Teacher, which is the great commandment(mitzvah/instruction) in the law(Torah)?”
A lot of people would like to have faith that Yeshua(Jesus) came to take away the Torah(Law) but in fact He and his followers appeared on the scene to show us how to keep the Torah as it was intended; and that’s with Love!
Leviticus 19:17-18 NKJV - ‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord(YHVH) .
Matthew 22 issues that Yeshua picks up on is:
- The question is who gets the prize, so where’s the love?
- One women outliving seven men, that is one wealthy widow.
- The last thing is the accusers attempts teardown(trap) and not build up.
Deuteronomy 6:4-6 NKJV - “Hear, O Israel: The Lord(YHVH) our God(Elohim), the Lord(YHVH) is one! You shall love the Lord(YHVH) your God(Elohim) with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command(instruct) you today shall be in your heart.
Reflection:
Psalms 141:1-5 NKJV – Lord(YHVH) , I cry out to You; Make haste to me! Give ear to my voice when I cry out to You. Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. Set a guard, O Lord(YHVH), over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips. Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies. Let the righteous(right-doers) strike me; It shall be a kindness(grace). And let him rebuke me; It shall be as excellent oil; Let my head not refuse it. For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked.
The truth is either your friend or your enemy! Read Matthew 6:24, Roman 3:31, and Galatians 3:24.
1 John 4:9 NIV - This is how God(YHVH) showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through(like) him.
No, since Jesus fulfilled the law he also abolished it. So the Jewish law with its 613 commands no longer has to be followed. So as Jesus told the Jews,
(John 8:36 NIV) So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
What's up barncat,
Galatians 3:24 NKJV - Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
So I take it you didn't read Matthew 6:24 or Roman 3:31 either. Please, keep in mind the Bible can't be wrong and right only men can be sinners by choice.
Also, Fulfilled doesn’t mean remove, take away, or erase.
“fulfilled “ = carry out (a task, duty, or role) as required, pledged, or expected.
So Yep, he did his part now the balls in your court.
