Proverbs 2:8 NKJV - He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints.
The Israelites who went through the wilderness for 40+ years had a great start, yes a bit rocky but still great; because they had to forget 430 years of programming and conditioning in a short period of time. So here we are, 2000 years after Yeshua(Jesus) died and what have we learned?
Luke 16:27-30 NKJV - “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’
Let’s pause here, so how do you think a conversation would go, if someone who died came back to give a warning? Oh, I’m sorry we know that story already! Ok then so what’s in Moses writing that could help today’s brothers and sisters to repent?
Deuteronomy 8:10-14 NKJV - When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord(YHVH) your God(Elohim) for the good land which He has given you. “Beware that you do not forget the Lord(YHVH) your God(Elohim) by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today, lest— when you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them; and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the Lord(YHVH) your God(Elohim) who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;
Ok, I get it, now. So its when there’s an abundance of food is when we get complacent, forgetful, and moody. Which is probably why it gets easier to become comfortable in our sins!
Luke 16:31 NKJV - But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’ ”
Reflection:
If you want life, peace, and a healthy body just learn to love what is written. Because, it was written for you also Romans 12:2 says we are to renew our minds, and if you don’t read the book how will you know what’s wrong(sin) or right?
Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV - Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus(Yeshua), who, being in the form(image/reflection) of God(YHVH), did not consider it robbery to be equal with God(YHVH), but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form(image/reflection) of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
