A Story For All But Safe For None

Hey all, just to prove I am what I am what I am and I am Dash, I am including this amazing photo of me in front of my computer screen which is currently set on my Steemit blog page, with an inserted picture of the page, unfortunately the clarity is poor on the blog photo. But looking at the Dash in this picture against the one posted on my blog will confirm that I am what I am what I am and I am Dash.

Very busy these days getting my life in order, but I do want to begin my Steemit journey so this is where it starts. Haven't looked at previous first time posts, hopefully I don't offend, too much.

I will probably be posting regarding various current events going on in the world, promoting my website and possibly posting some paintings that my Mommy does that are quite nice and I would like her to get rid of. Just a thought, but if there are maybe people in and around my neighbourhood that have galleries or art shows and would be interested in some of her work. My Mommy has displayed her paintings at a few local galleries and businesses, and is currently looking for more areas to display her talent. Let us call her Jean (my Mommy), has plans to continue painting but her in-house stock is growing out of proportion.

I was just reading a post by John Morris a web developer and educator on Udemy.com, where he talks about starting your freelance business by using family and friends as clients. In the end it sounded like he wasn't in favour of it, not sure I really am either. I have had a few family friendly work relationships that didn't work out to my benefit really. Anyway, I am thinking of helping my brother launch his online business using my IT knowledge to eliminate some of his start up costs. It will help me as I will use the opportunity to promote my work for paying clients, it is the sibling rivalry that inevitably pops up that turns what could have been a great venture, into a multi-year separation of hurt feelings and injured pride, that make me think twice about it. I am sure if he accepts my offer of assistance I will provide it, and be happy to do so.

Good times ahead and living in God's Grace, take care all and we will talk to you soon.
