Really wonderful post, for the scenario about the child just saying OK to being promised an aeroplane, well, people after experiencing life a bit and experiencing disappointments would tend to not want to hold on to any hope or expectation in other not be disappointed again, because it can be heartbreaking, but then it is good to hold on to hope with a mixture of believe and faith because God never fails us. He just does things at their appropriate time.
