Having a knowledge and understanding to do the right things at all times can directs one to an indefinite success. It isn't an easy task to become successful in a place of turmoil. Below is the word of God from Philippians 4:4-8.
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
One thing everyone must accept is that, a peaceful and conducive atmosphere enables growth, success and progress. Deriving continual development or progress in our life will eventually lead to joyous, peaceful and fulfilment of life.
To be a successful individual is not by magic neither does it happen by accident, but it takes hardwork, determination, diligence and obedience to both our daily activities and with God's word. Success can also be derived by applying the right principles at every point of our life.
However, here are some principles we must accept if we really want this fulfilment in our lives. First off, we must rejoice in God at all times; secondly we must not be too addicted to a particular thing whereby distracting ourselves from absolute focus of life.
All things we do are to be done moderately acknowledging the fact that Christ Jesus could come at an unexpected time; thirdly we must learn to avoid worrying and doubting by putting all our hope on the almighty God.
Above all, give more time to prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to the Lord. This is how God's word from Philippians 4:4-8 instructs us to follow, there is a greater reward waiting for you if you do so. Be a light to the world!

God doesn't promise us prosperity. The verses you quoted don't support that idea.
Your remark stating that God does not promise us prosperity shows you lack proper understanding of the word of God. In Matthew 4:19 Jesus promised to make Peter and his brother fishers of men. This promise was fulfilled in Luke 5:6.
You need to study well and learn before obstructing God's word.
